Try using either the "Filter String" or the "Filter Dates", or combine both.
These options only search on Bookings, they do not apply on Media Orders, Work Orders, Budget Details or Extras added via the Project window. Therefore, you might want to use these filters on a Project View that only shows Bookings.
The totals will show values related to the filtered Bookings.
Filter String
The icon for "Filter String" is the magnifier glass, and it searches for Bookings on the following conditions:
- Binder name
- Booking name
- Booked Object name (does not search on Extras added via the Timereport)
In the following example, we are searching by Binder name to only see all bookings on "EPISODE 1".
From version 6.6 SP2, it also has the option to search by Booking Status.
You can combine the two filters, to search for e.g. Bookings with Awaiting Client status from Episode 1 (binder).
As the Filter String window opens, and you click on the search field to type some value, a drop-down list will display all the Booking and Binder names, as well as the booked Object names that exist in this Project. You can start typing some value and hit Enter as you find it, or use the down arrow on your keyboard to navigate through this list.
As you apply some filters and hit OK, only the Bookings that meet those filters will show.
To remove the filter, click on the yellow tab on the top of the window that shows which filters are being applied.
Filter Dates
The icon for "Filter Dates" is the red calendar, right next to the magnifier glass.
In the Filter Dates window, select an initial date on the left-hand side calendar and an end date on the right-hand side calendar. As you hit OK, only those Bookings that meet these dates will show.
Note that multi-day Bookings that start before or end after the selected dates will also show.
To remove the filter, click on the yellow tab on the top of the window that shows which filters are being applied.
Combining the two filters
To combine both filters, first apply one and then go and apply the other one. In the example below, we first searched for Bookings on binder "Episode 1", and next we wanted to see only those happening in May.
