If you are using a text/description block in your quotation layouts with text of varying length, it can happen that the text will overlap the header elements if these are added to the same header / budget section.
Using String Operators to add sticky headers to first category or account
TABLE OF CONTENTS
The below example has a custom field with text varying length. We always want the description headers to start after the text ends, so we can configure the headers to be "linked" to the first category or account:
Step 1: Use the Counter to separate the element and only display on first category/account
With the new counter element you can separate an element to be displayed only in the first category account.
Enable the "Counter" Element and add a String Compare Operator:
... as RETURN value type the name of the field to display e.g. Description or Beschreibung or ....
Additionally you can rename the field with the chosen column header...
Then COPY that field and proceed with the next header... e.g. Quantity
Step 2: Add a String Contact to your TEXT field in the Header section
This will automatically push down the Category start by that 1 row.
