First you must have your farmerswife <> Cirkus integration enabled farmerswife - Cirkus Integration v2 from 6.6 SP1
You must also make sure that you have switched the Cirkus Sync on for the project you are working on, as well as having an Active Budget
In the Budget window > Eye icon > Edit View > move Cirkus Sync to the "Show" column
Once the Budget is made Active a green + will appear in the Cirkus Sync column. Clicking this + opens a new window to Create a Cirkus Task.
The information for the task will be pre-populated:
Name = Budget Row Description
Description = Budget Row Note
The pre-populated text is editable directly in this window.
There is also the option to select a Cirkus Task Template (if these templates have been created in Cirkus)
If you require a Cirkus Subproject which will contain all the tasks from this Budget Account, this can also be selected within this window - the default will be the Account Name followed by the Account Note (editable) :
After pressing OK to create the Cirkus Task:
- an Actual is automatically created in the farmerswife project and attached to the Budget Line
- The task list shown on the farmerswife Project window will be updated with the new number of tasks synced between farmerswife & Cirkus for this Project
- a new task appears in the synced Cirkus Project (or Sub Project) with the details as defined
- the "Cirkus Sync" column will contain information showing if the task is marked as Not Done / Done within Cirkus
To create Cirkus Tasks from multiple Budget lines at once > highlight the rows > right click > Budget Details > Create Cirkus Tasks
However note that you DO NOT get the "Create Cirkus Task" window using this option, so there is not a prompt to edit details before the tasks appears in Cirkus (where they will be editable as usual)
Once the tasks have been completed in Cirkus, this will be reflected in farmerswife, both against the Budget line the were created from, and on the farmerswife Project
