Email stopped working

If your email send out functionality in farmerswife stopped recently please review the below:

Here the "self-hosting" part and especially first start with enabling debugging and sending Test emails and checking the log.txt for helper info.


farmerswife offers "basic" auth for Allow Mail out of the box.

Depending on the used Outgoing Email Provider, this might require OAuth.

If you can, use your Google Workspace account and follow the steps as per this solution article:

How to setup Google Business account to use OAuth for the fw Server-side > Allow Mail > "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)"


If you are a cloud hosted customer please get in touch with support and we can switch to our AWS SES Email Service.
