Web Client / Web Server Is Not Answering

Issue:


The issue is most likely due to either:
A dead and ghosted Java process; please check via Windows Task Manager, there should be only 1 Java process running.

Or it's due to an OLD Java version. 
This should be at least OpenJDK v11 LTS. But better even, to ensure no OLD Java versions are installed, remove them if necessary. Then install the OpenJDK v17 LTS. This is required anyway for the next v71 release.

After the Java upgrade, please simply restart the fw Server app. 


Further troubleshooting:

Please check in Task Manager: is there still a java.exe process running? If yes, kill it.


Please launch the fw Server app again and wait until after "Server Ready" on the fw server app log window.

Wait up to 2 min ... is a java.exe process launched?


You should see "New Web Server Started" and it's PID on the fw server app log window.


Once there, try on fw server app host machine in web browser: http://127.0.0.1:26000 ... do you now get the Web Client login window?
