How to Copy an Existing User to Create a New User

Modified on Thu, 10 Sep, 2020 at 6:47 PM

  1. Go to Object Manager and search for a User that has the same permission profile and Object Classes than the new user should have.
  2. Click on it once to highlight in yellow, click on the drop-down menu and select Copy.
  3. As the new line is created for the new user, open it (make sure you open the one that says "(Copy)" right after the Nick Name (like in the pic) and in the Modify User window change at least these fields:

    • Nick Name
    • Password
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email

  4. Update other fields as needed: phone numbers, icon...
  5. Once done, click OK.

Copy Settings From Another User

If you have created a New Advanced User when they first log into farmerswife we suggest you Copy Settings From Another User. This option can be found in the Toolbox > Settings > Miscellaneous.

This will copy the chosen User’s configured settings from the Toolbox, such as List Views from the Hourline, Object Tree, Personnel Tree and Class Availability.
