To edit the Monthly Utilization Budget, click on either the Objects Tree or Personnel Tree icons in the Longform, scroll to Monthly Utilization Budget and select: Edit Monthly Utilization Budget
That will bring up a window to allow you to:
- Add new Objects or Users in to the monthly budget
- view booked hours for the month you are viewing
- edit the budgeted hours for the Objects or Users for the month that you are viewing
When you’re done you can use the Print Designer to run a report.
Since these numbers can be very useful while scheduling Users and objects in the Longform, they can also be viewed in the in the Personnel Tree, and the Objects Tree in Classic Mode.
To access go to Toolbox > Settings and then go to:
Personnel Tree:
Objects Tree, and ensure "Classic Mode" is ticked, to get the setting for Monthly Utilization Budget
When on, you will see the numbers displayed alongside the relevant objects on either the Personnel Tree or Objects Tree:
If you hover the mouse over the grey square next to an object or User, it will show the numbers for each month in the current Long Form view.
Please Note: hours from Personnel Bookings will add up under the Worked Hours. For example, you need to book a person 160 hours in August. That's your "Budget". But the person is on vacation the first 2 weeks (=80 hours). Then you should typically NOT cram the 160 hours into the last 2 weeks. But instead it will say the Worked Hours is 80 and you only need to book another 80 hours to hit the Budget.
