There are multiple colouring options available for the Web Client & iOS timeline (since 6.8).
They can be configured in the Toolbox > Settings > Web Share Settings.
You can individually and independently from the Desktop Client colouring options define in which colour preliminary or confirmed or planning bookings should appear. You can only use one colour option at a time.
Note: There's also a setting to enable new Booking Color Options in the Web Client, iOS & MWC at all. This is enabled by default. If you prefer to keep the old colour coding for your web users, you can easily disable it.
Force Preliminary/Planning Colour
Upon choosing any of the "Use..." colouring options you can also decide whether you want the Preliminary/Planning colour to overwrite the chosen colour option (Force Preliminary/Planning Colour).
Container/Project/Client (Task) Colour
In previous versions, the only colouring option available for the Web Client is to show Bookings by the Forced Project Colour in the fw Desktop app.
- In Toolbox > Settings > Server Setup (> Web Share Settings) > tick: Show Project Colours For Events In The Web Client.
- The Bookings will show in the Web Client with the chosen Project Colour.
Display of coloured bookings in Month View
From version 7.1 onwards the month view of the Web Client will show the Booking Colors selected in Toolbox > settings tab > Web Share Setting in a highlighted box around the Project/Task or Personnel Booking name. The font will show in black.
If you have not selected any Booking Colors in the Web Client the font will be blue and the highlight box around in a slighter lighter blue:
Use Binder Colour
Once ticked, the Binder Colour selected in the desktop client when creating the Binder will show in the Web Client. This feature will only work for the Web Client and not for the mobile Web Client or iOS.
