Purpose:
This "Consumption Report" will display the % of usage according to the total amount of Class Members vs. number of Object Bookings.
How to run the report:
Load one or multiple Object Classes and run a monthly report on the selected Classes.
In the Classes Availability Tree, click on the icon and select > Reports > Consumption Report.
The report will display in landscape mode and the month is the current month selected in the Long Form View Port.
The template will be empty, you will need to import the template attached to this article.
Report Period: the report will always show a whole month, even if you just select a few days in the Long Form.
There are two templates available:
Consumption Report: will show apart from the usage of an Object vs its Object Class members as well as External Hire. Those will show in "- (minus)" and reflect the overbooking per Object in the Class Availability tree, but will show with the corresponding number in the consumption report.
Example above: 7 Offline Suites; 8 booked; 1 "external" (pure Object Class) = 114% Used.
Consumption Report with Group member Alert: will show all of the Consumption Report report above and take into account any Group Alert triangles and show those as a Booking. If a Member of a Group is booked, the Group will show a yellow warning triangle icon. This will now also be shown and added to the sum of the Bookings per day.
(For information about the Group Alert on Groups check out our article here.)
Inside of both reports you can show the total members of an Object Class and run the calculation against the daily Bookings or Tasks that have been created on any of the Object Class members.
You can also show External Hires (pure Object Class booked): Those will emerge from any Availability that is shown as "-1, or -2" in the Class Tree.
Please note: In the Classes Availability Tree Tasks Bookings, confirmed and preliminary Bookings as well as planning Bookings are considered and will count as Usage or lower the Availability of the Object Class per day. E.g. two half day Bookings will not show as 2 Objects taken or booked, they will be considered as one Object not available or used.
If you use the setting in Toolbox > Auto Book External Object When No Object Found - you won't be able to see External Hires - this setting needs to be turned off to see the Availability going into minus (-1, -2, etc.) in the Class Tree.
